Brett became a licensed physical therapist after graduating from the University of Nebraska Medical Center with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy and a Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Science. Prior to his postgraduate studies, Brett attended the University of Nebraska with a major in secondary education and coaching. He enjoys working with athletes of all ages and levels and has a passion for helping individuals reach their optimal quality of life. As a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, Nebraska Physical Therapy Association, and Sports Physical Therapy Section, Brett has pursued further education in physical therapy treatment for runners. He also enjoys studying the practice of physical therapy with overhead athletes. He has aspirations to further develop his knowledge in these areas so that he can help individuals return to their sports and meet their goals.
Brett grew up in Kearney Nebraska, where he participated in football and track. He and his wife Mallory enjoy being active with anything from running, racquetball, basketball and golf, to fishing, wakeboarding and snowboarding.
